Chicago Waterfront Kiosk

This kiosk was designed to serve as an acoustic space as well as a shell structure for shade and weather protection. The acoustic shape of the kiosk allows for small outdoor concerts, and busking, while still serving as a kiosk. When not in use for projecting sound, it gathers and amplifies sounds from the waves for those sitting at the base of the kiosk. This project was designed in collaboration with Neil Forrest and Roly Hudson.
