Goat Island Mi’kmaq Interpretive Centre

Eskasoni, Unimaqi

This is an interpretive centre for an off grid site in Eskasoni, Cape Breton Island which was designed to serve the needs of a local cultural tourism enterprise. The building was designed to house artefacts and host cultural events, and feasts. It was designed to be built using local trees in a bentwood construction system developed together with Albert Marshall of Eskasoni and first applied in the West Wing project.
